I had a wonderful experience at Color Theory Tattoo. I went in today for a navel/belly button piercing and I came out overjoyed. I am a minor but the whole procedure went very smoothly. I was taken care of as soon as I entered and my piercer was very professional and helpful. He answered all my questions with ease and made sure I got the best fitting jewelry for my body. Personally, I have a low pain tolerance but it wasn't too bad and I was in and out in under 30 minutes. A couple hours later and I have had barely any swelling or bleeding, my belly button barely hurts and I can assure anyone that this place is great! Highly reccomend.

Ciaran did a refresh/update on my 26 year old tattoo and I could not be more pleased with it.

My sister got Ear Piercings and a Spetum Piercing for her birthday a few months ago, and I just went a few days ago to get my own piercings, and I couldn't be happier!! Alex was amazing and made the brief experience chill while I was very nervous for my first profesional piercing. He was very kind and courteous when piercing my sister as well, and I highly recommend this place for any piercing.

My friend has been going to Freddie Brown for many years, and I absolutely loved his work. So I finally decided to get my own piece done by him. He definitely did not disappoint. I love my new tattoo, and I cannot wait to get more work done by Freddie.

I needed a piercing changed due to irritation (it’s a very old piercing from a different piercer) and o needed my nose piercing replaced. Everything was clean and sanitary and easily taken care of.

I went here earlier today. My piercer was so kind and the service was quick! The placement is perfect!! I’m so happy with it. 🙂

Had a tattoo done in Hawaii and wanted to add to it. I was able too walk in and was able to have my two small turtles done. I am very happy with the results.

I've been tattooed by three artists here and they are all super talented. Loved the pieces I got and were pretty fairly priced. Everyone at the shop is super nice.

I highly recommend Brittany!! She did an awesome job on my botanical tattoo and she makes the environment very comfortable 🙂

Very cool and clean place! I of course didn’t speak to everyone that worked there but the people I did were super nice and helped me feel at ease! I originally went in just to see if I had the proper anatomy for a industrial or eyebrow and one of the piercers, Alex told me I do for both! The process to set up the appointment was super easy and quick, got my industrial done, paid and left happy and excited! I have 2 face piercings and this was my first time going to a professional and I plan to go again for sure. Thank you!

was in and out in under half an hour. i got my naval pierced by alex and he made the experience very calm. i felt lightheaded after the piercing, but he made sure to get me back on my feet. i could tell he was professional and experienced. 100% would recommend coming here!!!

Seriously the best tattoo shop in the burbs if not in Chicagoland.

A few years ago I got an industrial piercing done but the place I went to did it wrong and it had to be removed. I decided to finally get it put back in. I got tattoo's from Color Theory and they are amazing and the people are awesome there. I decided to go to Color Theory for my piercing. I met Austin there who does piercings. He is awesome, he is very helpful. He cared about the jewelry I needed for my industrial and recommended a longer bar to help make room for swelling instead of just piercing with a small length bar. He explained everything during the piercing procedure and made it go so smoothly, so easy and very little pain. He is quick but accurate. Great customer service and great on making the customer know what is going on so they are aware. After the piercing he makes sure the customer know the best care for the piercing and explains the best way to make sure it heals properly. I highly recommend Color Theory for tattoo's and highly recommended Austin if you need a piercing. The place and people are beyond awesome! Definitely will be going back for any tattoo's or piercings.

Completely forgot to leave a review! Omg. I went in on the first Monday of December to get my right helix pierced. Alex took AWESOME care of me! The shop was super clean and everyone that was in on that day were super sweet. In and out so fast and it was an amazing experience, will definitely be coming to you guys again for any future piercings!

I walked in here for a re piercing and i felt safe and confident in my choice. austin was fabulous! he was very professional and friendly — he apologized once for overexplaining what he was doing, which was not a problem at all, because i’d much rather know what was going on during a piercing than not. i really appreciated how thorough he was. i left with a beautiful new helix and conch piercing and i will be coming back once those are healed.

Today is a very special day and marks 2 years someone special passed. We wanted memorial tattoos, however no artists had an appointment time for us early enough to come and be to work on time. Mike and Will opened early and Will designer something even better then we imagined. We are 100% in love with the tattoos and their service and skills were superior. Thank you Mike and Will!!!

mya helped me get new jewelry put in after i lost mine in my sleep! she was super awesome and continually checked in to see if i was comfortable. she took her time to fit a new nose ring to my nose shape!! it looks friggen so cute. really happy 🙂

Had my sleeve done with Cass Tino and couldn't be happier. She took the time to work with me on my sleeve idea and turn it into a viable tattoo. She's thorough, detail-oriented and a talented tattoo artist to boot. I get compliments constantly on the line work, the colors and the concept. Most of all she made sure I'd love my tattoo every step of the way. The tattoo shop itself is clean and everyone working there was friendly. Highly recommend!!!!

Brittany was beyond wonderful to work with! She took the time to do a consult with me, work with me on artwork I created and brought in, offered different sizing on the day of and didn’t rush or pressure me in any of the process. A wide range of styles and a great conversationalist! Didn’t need to bring anyone with me because talking with her and the client/artist duo next to us kept me occupied throughout the session. Studio was clean and helpful when you walk in. Parking is limited so plan accordingly! ATM on site as well. Place runs chilly too which I appreciated!
